Quality First Training and Support (QFTS) was established during the pandemic in 2021 by Sharon Padayachee (Founder and Director). She began providing classes to many learners nationwide through the power of digital technology utilizing current National Department of Health guidelines to train, develop and provide on-going support.
Led by subject matter experts and accredited facilitators, our programs equip participants with essential education and skills, empowering them to excel in their roles and improve patient care.
Some of the workshops:
- Comprehensive HIV Counselling and Testing, Basic Adherence and Finger Prick.
- CLI (Clinic Lab Interface) workshops include RTQII/RTCQI/SPI-RT and the Basic Phlebotomy course which further enhance Quality Improvement Initiatives.
- Basic Phlebotomy Short Course: To equip nurses and other health care professionals with the critical skills necessary to obtain acceptable blood samples to address the high laboratory rejection rate which ultimately will provide accurate treatment and management to our patients.
